Trust the five star reviews. The Seasons at Umstead is truly a hidden gem. New appliances; dutiful, friendly, and thoughtful office and maintenance staff; and — what I love most — the quiet environment full of trees, plants, and sounds of nature, just a short jog to hundreds of miles of Umstead State Park trails. Really, it’s hard to believe that the dominant noise I heard from my apartment was the sound of birds…when the complex is just off Glenwood Ave and so close to 540. And! It’s safe. I have felt completely at ease taking walks at night alone as a young woman. As I search the rental market elsewhere preparing for a move…I am coming into full realization of how rare The Seasons is. Blessed to have spent a year here!
