Candlewood Penthouse - Welcome to 84 Candlewood, South Windsor. This condo has been renovated from top to bottom with quality finishes. There is a newer kitchen with Saint Cecilia granite counters and an attractive 2x3 subway tile backsplash. There are stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, space saver/hood microwave, disposal, and new bottom freezer stainless-steel refrigerator. The kitchen has a modern feel with an oversized ceramic floor tile, brushed nickel contemporary door handles, and extra cabinet trim molding. This kitchen was professionally designed to maximize storage and counter space and one of the nicest in the complex. It is an efficient kitchen with everything right there including a large window and nice view of the pool. One of the best upgrades to the condo is the real hardwood floors throughout the entire living space. You will have to see it to believe it, but we used Patagonian Rosewood, an exotic hardwood that is usually only seen in expensive homes and this floor totally transformed the condo into a very warm and rich feel. The entire condo has been professionally painted with designer "Pottery Barn" colors. A very relaxing and soothing color scheme that goes well with the new kitchen and floors. The condo has newer light fixtures, including eight recessed lights in the living room to give it again a modern look and functionality. There is an entire glass wall of sliders that goes out onto your personal balcony. This is a great space to grill and have easy accessible outdoor living area. It also provides a ton of natural light to make this a very sunny condo. The open layout of this unit will fit any size living room furniture or tv size. Lots of options for setting this room up from sectionals to even a separate office space. There are ceiling fans in both the dining area and bedroom. The bedroom has an entire wall devoted to closets and the living room has a walk-in storage/closet area that is a real bonus. The bathroom has also been updated as well. There is a newer 50" granite vanity countertop. The re-glazed tub and tile surround are blinding white and newer. We even replaced the mixing valve, shower spout and shower head. There is plenty of counter space to help prepare in the morning and good bathroom storage. The location of this condo is another plus. You are two miles from the Buckland Hills mall area where you can find popular restaurants and endless shopping options. There are excellent rated schools and nearby parks. It's very convenient to get to I-84 and 291 which are both about 6 minutes away. This condo is one of the closest to the community pool to conveniently cool off on summer days by just walking outside your door. Hartford is less than a 15-minute back road drive. This is a second-floor ranch unit with no one above you which definitely makes it quieter and more of penthouse feel (especially with the higher-end updates that have been done). Best of all, we put in a high efficiency ductless central air and heating system. This is the only one in the complex and if you value comfort in all seasons and low utility bills, this is the unit for you. This unit is rarely available. Please keep in mind that we have a strict application process with a full background, credit, employment, and income verification. There will be a one-month security deposit with a strong application. Pets considered on a case by case basis. Tenant only pays an electric bill for utilities...
