I'm looking for a female roommate for my AMAZING century old, furnished apt. It is a large apartment with upgrades, great hardwood floors and details such as molding. Lots of character to this spacious apartment. It's right on Yonge St (a few short blocks north of Eglinton on Yonge) above a store and only about a 7 min walk to the Eglinton subway (bus stop in front of the building also). It is a two bedroom apartment with one small (but renovated/CLEAN) bathroom, but you would be getting the master bedroom, which of course is the larger and more private of the two bedrooms. The large living room is separated by a hallway from the kitchen and large eating area, which enables more privacy whenever you want to be more on your own, but not locked up in your room. FURNISHING: The apt is fully furnished, (though I am sure we can fit your fav pieces in if you have some that you would like to bring - and there is room for sure in the bedroom you would be renting). The room being offered is furnished with a double bed, a desk with a chair, and a dresser (not seen in picture) NEIGHBOURHOOD: This area has EVERYTHING you need, and the people in the building (which has 6 units) are great and some of us get together once in awhile, so there's a sense of community. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and pubs around, with Metro grocery store, Shoppers Drug Mart open 24/7, and a Rowefarms store right across the street, so it's both a convenient and fun area to live. UTILITIES: Hydro and Internet costs are shared and are not included in the rent. We don't pay for heating. YOU: I am looking for a roommate of any age, who is clean and tidy and considerate of shared space. I'm looking for someone like me who is LAID BACK and EASY GOING, is a GOOD COMMUNICATOR and friendly. :) I want to be able to enjoy my roommate's company also, so please don't intend to be a stranger to me in the apt. Not to worry though, I also love quiet time to myself...just looking for a healthy balance. I prefer non-smokers :) No drugs users please. ME: I'm female and in my late 30's, but happy to room with a great person of any age (my current roommate is in her 20's for example) I am very easy-going, good communicator, reasonable, respectful of the others space, and am happy company. I match closely to the description of a Pisces personality, if that helps you at all. ;) I have been told by all my roommates of the past that I have been positive and easy to live with. I have also remained friends with them, so I like to think that that says something in itself. TIME: October 1st to move in, but first and last month rent required beforehand of course, to confirm you are taking the room, so until the first and last rent is received, I will continue looking. I will be taking this ad off as soon as it has been taken. Looking forward to hearing from you!
