The Space: This cozy 60m2 apartment is a great place to call home, whether you are here by yourself, with your family or friends. Take advantage of the full kitchen and the balcony to cook your favorite breakfast and enjoy warm coffee on a sunny day, or take a break and read your favorite book in the reading room. With hardwood floors throughout, a full bathroom, a huge closet with extra linens and towels, and a full office/reading room, your stay here is sure to make your Montreal stay one for the books! Interaction with Guests I live downstairs from the apartment, so expect quick feedback :-) The Neighbourhood: Set near Plateau, Mile-end, Little Italy and Jean-Talon market, La Petite-Patrie neighbourhood is Montreal's best kept secret! Attracted by Saint-Ambroise elementary school, quietness and accessibility, many young families decided to settle here. That makes up for a unique mix of quietness, liveliness, respect and good vibes throughout. You must take a look at the alley on saturdays: kids playing around and parents chatting and gardening! Take a morning BiXi (public bicycle, at the corner) stroll on one of Montreal's numerous cycling path, grab a bite and a double espresso at Caffè Mille Gusti (100m), get a fresh baguette at Autour d'Un Pain (100m) and chat with those who make Montreal so unique. Browse the Plaza Saint-Hubert (700m) for music, books, banks, pharmacies, convenience store, bars and so much more! Get downtown in 20 minutes with Beaubien subway station (800m) and come back home in so little time, away from the noise and stress, on your school zone street with mature trees. Also, don't forget the poutine at Poutineville, two blocks away! Other Things to Note The building is typical early 20th century Montreal architecture. In order to provide extra room for families of 10+ children, architects had to cut down on bathroom area. Although only 40 square feet, the bathroom is fully functional :-)
