Windows on two walls overlook wooded back yard. Queen bed, bookshelves, desk, storage drawers. We can accommodate most requests for changing or adding furniture in the bedrooms. Four housemates (including basement apartment). About the location/neighborhood: Listed on the National Historic register, University Park is a quiet, safe, older small city originally designed with UMD professors and other professionals in mind. Lots of trees, sidewalks. A close 5-10 minute walk to Prince Georges Mall, 10 minute walk to movie theater, 15- 20 minute walk to DC metro station (20 minute Metro ride into heart of DC), 30 minute walk or 15 minute bike ride to the University of Maryland campus. University shuttle picks up a block away. Only 2.8 miles from National Archives & Records Administration (5 minute bus ride), 25-30 min. drive into DC Information about the lease: • Lease through August, 2017 • Move in: Sept 1 • Security deposit = to 2 month’s rent: $1500 (owner will finance 1/2 over ten months) • First month’s rent due at signing; rent due on 1st of each month after that. • Application fee, $40 (applied to 1st month’s rent) • Rental application includes background and credit checks and an interview.
