Wonderful bright and airy single family home rental in North Deering neighborhood of Portland. On the main floor you will find a bright and light filled open concept main space, with an updated kitchen, with an oversized island, great for entertaining. The floor to ceiling windows, and sliding patio doors that lead out to the large and private backyard, make the dining area feel as though you are outdoors. Although the fireplace is not functioning for tenants, it still gives a cozy feel as you sit in the living room and look out the large picture window. There is a half bath off the main living space, and from there you can step down to the large family room, which can also double as a gym space, head out to the 2 car heated garage, or down to the partially furnished basement. Upstairs you will find 2 large bedrooms, 3 smaller bedrooms and a 6th small room that is currently used as an office. The master bedroom is complete with ample closet space and a full ensuite bathroom. There are 2 additional full baths upstairs as well, and a well proportioned laundry room with a sink. The new efficient on demand natural gas boiler provides affordable heat in the winter and an endless supply of hot water. Outdoors you can relax on the patio, enjoy the sweet scent of summer flowers in the many gardens surrounding the property, or the backyard is a great place to play. Wonderful quiet family neighborhood on a dead end street, within a 3 minute walk to Lyseth Elementary School and Lyman Moore Middle School, and 10 minute walk to Presumpscott River Trailhead. Steps away from North Gate Shopping Plaza. Preferred move-in August 1st-15th. Pets considered on a case by case basis, with pet deposit. Even with this very cold previous winter, the gas bill never got above $370/month from Dec-March. Landlord pays storm water. Tenant responsible for lawn care and snow removal. May be able to negotiate lawn care tools. Renter's insurance is required. 2 car heated garage. Off street parking in driveway as well as some on street parking.
