Roommates Wanted --- We are looking for one or two interesting, open-minded, educated, and fun individuals to live with us on Cherry Hill. Neighborhood --- Our neighborhood is quiet and full of mostly older folks up on Cherry Hill. It's nice enough that most people can walk their dogs in the street without fear of getting run over or being accosted for having their dogs off their leash. Rooms --- We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a nice kitchen and large living room. We also have a sunken den called "The Pit" with an extra storage/bedroom attached to it. We generally use the pit as the computer room due to it's central location of the house. The back yard is going to be used as a garden to supplement food this season. If you like to garden, there's plenty of space. The garage is currently being used as storge by The Landlord, but the driveway can handle 3 vehicles. Appliances --- There are two fireplaces to keep the house warm durning the winter as well as a heater to supplement the heating. We have a dishwasher, washing machine, and a dryer, so no more trips to the laundromat. Yay! We also have an extra fridge in the laundry room, so you don't have to worry about your food getting confused with ours. Utilities --- We have water, heat, electricity, and internet(wired and 802.11). Sorry, no cable or satelite TV. Culture --- We're basically a couple of laid back, relaxed atheists. We don't mind if you are religious or spiritual, but prefer that you don't try to convert us. We enjoy hanging out with our roommates(when available), we have movie night, Rock Band, a Kinect, etc. We prefer to cook at home rather than eating out, but occassionaly we'll head out somewhere nice to eat. What We're Looking For --- We prefer to have roommates that are willing to be involved with our little micro-community. We'd enjoy it if you had dinner with us, went to movies or picnics with us. We're not hermits and we're not looking for hermits. Vices --- We understand that everyone has their vices. Here's a breakdown of our preferences. Alcohol --- We have no issue with alcohol, as long as you aren't an alcoholic. We occassionaly bring home beer, wine, or other tasty spirits and liqours. We don't mind sharing if you don't. Tobacco --- Smoking is a problem. If you smoke cigarettes, stink like cigarettes or make the house stink like cigarettes, we cannot rent to you. Pipe tobacco and Sheesha for Hookahs are more friendly to the nose and may be permitted. Drugs -- Drugs and it's users, even marajuana(until it is legalized), will not be allowed in the house. Our Pets --- Our dogs are part of our family. They take walks with us and go on trips with us, wherever we might go. We treat them like the are our childern. We ask that you don't raise your voice to them or punish them unless they have done something naughty. Your Pets --- We understand that your pets are part of your family, too. We would prefer little dogs. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cats into our home anymore due to our last roommate not cleaning her catbox regularly. Edwin has an allergy to cat dander and most cat litters which make life very difficult for him. If you have a small dog, you are more than welcome to introduce your pet to ours to see if they get along.
