Located just a few minutes from downtown Banner Elk, the lodge sits right between Sugar and Beech Mountain Ski Resorts, about ten miles to either one. Grandfather Mountain is also about ten miles away. The property is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Hawksnest Snow-tubing and Zip-lining, Linville Falls and Caverns, Valle Crucis, and everything else one would want to do or see in the NC High Country! The impressive main floor great room has high exposed beam tongue-and-groove ceilings with large windows revealing the mountain scenery. Leather furniture surrounds the stacked stone gas fireplace and TV. A custom wood dining table accommodates all eight guests in the dining room, with the kitchen just beyond. The lower level features a game room with a pool table, piano, and a large, mounted flat-screen TV. The lower-level deck has a hot tub, a wooden porch swing, and a propane heater. The backyard has a picnic table and fire pit for afternoon picnics and evening marshmallow roasts. The main floor master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, deck access, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a claw foot tub and step-in shower. The upper level has a bedroom with a full bed, a TV, and a second loft sleeping area open to the great room below. The open loft has a double bed and a twin bed with a twin trundle. There is a queen bedroom on the lower level and a full bathroom with a soaking tub and tile shower. Additional amenities include wifi, central heating, air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and ROKU-equipped TVs. This property is pet-friendly, and two dogs are welcome with your reservation. Additional pet fees apply. The paved driveway has parking for two to three cars outside the lower-level garage. The long staircase from the parking area to the main level deck accesses the front entrance. The stylish mountain decor and bright colors create an appealing mountain getaway experience!
