We are quite social and like to entertain, and we all travel a lot. About the house: 3-br, 2ba house. Views of the Ko’olau Mountains, newly remodeled-ish, new kitchen and remodeled bathroom, single-wall construction, older kitchen appliances, window air conditioners, no central air conditioning. It has one indoor bathroom, one extra bathroom at the back of the garage, and an outdoor shower. About the Rooms: The bedroom is furnished, but if you have your own stuff and are staying long-ish-term, we can move the furniture out. It has air conditioning. Rent: $1350 p/m per bedroom room (for 90 days or more), $1550 p/m per bedroom for shorter stays (minimum stay 30 days). First month + last month + deposit. Utilities are included except for electricity. We will soon have a solar system. Electricity will be a flat fee of $50 per month plus the Hawaiian Electric bill divided evenly. Bonus Guest Room: We have set up the second living room (“family room” on the floorplan) as a living space that doubles as a sleeping area for houseguests. We’re so excited to finally have a dedicated room for visitors so that they don’t have to stay in Waikiki. As long as we coordinate and they don’t stay too long, your guests are welcome, too! Pets: We’d consider it. We don’t have any. Outdoor shower: it's great. A hot shower with a view of the Ko'olau mountains. Dealbreakers: Indoor smoking- drugs of any kind, even marijuana. About the laneway: It’s a private, shared laneway. Our neighbors are very particular about taking it slowly down the lane. The process: We have an application and will run a credit and background check. We are advertising early for our December availability.
