Two vacant lockable rooms are available for October 1 in a 2 room lockable apartment, $660 for each room. You can rent just one, or two together. They can be rented by people who know each other, or by strangers-to-be-roommates (the first to rent could help me choose the second). One person could rent both rooms- whatever. To apply, please provide the following: * State as exactly as you can, how long you will rent- try to give a specific move out date instead of a vague estimate. If you don’t know, then give a range of move out dates: the earliest & latest possible. * A url of your Facebook profile would be very helpful- & if not your Facebook, then some similar internet presence or emailed content. * Some basic personal details including your age & full name should be mentioned IF they are not found elsewhere. * If you live far away, give the date you next visit Toronto to check out rentals. * If you are moving to Toronto from far away, give your arrival date. You must visit in person before any rental agreement- Skype will not substitute. First & last is required: a $660 deposit (rent + internet) reserves the room until October 1. The deposit is eventually used as the last month of tenancy rent. October’s rent is due October 1. No barking or vicious dogs are allowed. Non-smokers are preferred & no smoking in the exterior hallway. The location is the first floor rear of a semidetached townhouse on Kensington Ave in renowned Kensington Market, northwest of Spadina/Dundas, downtown Toronto (west). It is central to many colleges, Chinatown, 2 major streetcar lines, shopping & social venues. They are both medium sized rooms with 2 windows in each room. One room is off the kitchen & the other is off the hallway. The kitchen is large enough to double as a dining room. It has a gas stove & medium size fridge. The bathroom has a full size tub with shower. Rent includes heat (forced air), electricity, gas, & Wi-Fi internet. The internet is 45 mbps, shared with others living upstairs, & will stay completely included in the rent if the 550 gb cap is not exceeded. No laundry but a laundromat is a 3 minute walk away. There is limited yard space & storage. City street permit parking is available. The house is not new, has cosmetic flaws throughout but is overall safe & sound. It’s a typical townhouse in a busy high density urban ‘hood. Essential maintenance is usually done quickly- other renovations & upgrades are done fairly often. The house has no history of bedbugs- this & any other claim I make can be backed up by past & current tenants.
