After living with a roommate for a few years I have decided to move to a smaller apartment and live by myself. So now I want to transfer my lease for my large 4, 1/2 apartment in Cotes des Neige for the this September. It has two large rooms and lots of lights. The apartment is very tranquil and calm with a really nice backyard. The heating, stove, fridge and hot water is included. You need to pay for electricity and gas (the stove is gas) which is roughly $30 a month. There is a huge closet you can use to store your stuff. There are two smaller closets as well as one closet in each room for your clothes. The area: Honestly this is one of the liveliest and most vibrant areas in town. It is minutes away from the stores. A 24/7 Métro, a 24/7 Pharmaprix, Première Moisson, McDonalds, Walmart, Maxi, a 24/7 fruit market and lots and lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment is a few minutes away from the famous Mont-Royal Park. St-Joseph Cathedral is just less than a mile away. If you are a student at UdeM it is less than 10 minutes away if you walk. There are several buses including 11, 165, 435 and night bus running nearby very frequently. Cotes des Neige subway station is only 10 minutes away if you walk. The street is pretty calm and peaceful. The top neighbors are an old couple, so you rarely hear anything from the top. And the bottom neighbor is a single man who happens to be deaf.
