I am currently renting out a large room in my country home. I have spent the last 2 years completely renovating this lovely brick bungalow. All new paint, flooring, AC, furnishings, appliances throughout. There is a complete set of all your normal appliances. The room available is approximately 275sqft and used to be the living room. It is huge! You could easily have a bed, a desk and a sitting area in this room. One wall is completely windowed facing the woods in the back yard. I have a spare bedroom with furniture which we can compromise if you are in need of some. The house sits on 2 acres but is surrounded completely by my family owned 80acre wooded area. You share a full bathroom a few feet down the hall. I don't have any pets nor can I allow any in the house, sorry! I love pets but Ive had situations where people were allergic and it worked out poorly. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is willing to commute 20mins from the center of town and live out of the city away from the concrete and hustle. The property is only 2 miles from Jonesville and Town of Tioga. If you haven't been there Tioga is a very high end plaza with lots of great places to eat and drink. Jonesville has a publix and several other restaurants so you are only 2 minutes from a town actually. This rental would be ideal for someone who is attending UF in the agricultural or horticultural department. I am currently working on a micro-loan to build a small vegetable farm slightly away from the house. If you like gardens, you must check this place out. I have all the tools and equipment to build it. Ideally you would want to participate in this endeavor and grow your own vegetables but it is not a necessity. I prefer graduate students or professionals interested in some peace in the country not far from town. This is a great place if you are working on your doctoral and need space to focus. I don't have TV connectivity. I have a large screen but I only watch movies on it. If TV is something you are a diehard about it can be arrnaged for about $45 a month. Last month's electricity bill was $94 and last year I never saw a bill over $130. The rent is $400 plus we would split the electric which is the only bill the house has. It has septic and a well.....sweet! The water is awesome! I am very easy going. I don't ask anything of you other than kindness and honesty. That being said, this is definitely not a party pad since it is just little old me. I do have friends over for bonfires maybe once a month but only on Saturday nights. I also want to clarify that this is a rental for one person. I couldn't care less if you smoke since there is ample space outside to do it but no smoking inside please. The rent will be month to month so that if either of us decides we aren't compatible there is no obligation to stay. First month's rent is required to move in. I will also need personal/professional references and to run a background check. I am a 37 year old male currently working on expanding a vegetable farm on the property and attending SFC full time in the fall. I am called a clean freak but I do not hold others to my standards. I only ask you be considerate of the shared areas. I have 3 degrees and I keep very busy. I am also a fabricator/artist so if that is your interest you may want to check my place out..... I always have a lot going on around the estate but I have completed the interior of the home so none of the exterior upgrades should affect yo..
