Great house directly on the water on beautiful and clean Coventry Lake in Connecticut. This is a year round rental yearly renewable with owner's consent. It has been perfect for Grad students and young couples but we have had several single people and couples there who enjoy the lake activities. You are 10 minutes from UCONN or Eastern. The house is on the east (UCONN) side of the lake off of Main st (rt 31) and has a great view of sunsets. Two bedroom, one bathroom, full set of appliances in the Kitchen, including a dishwasher and microwave. Large living room on the main floor a large AC unit in the living room which cools the entire house. Open Kitchen/living room area, enclose upper deck and a larger lower patio deck along with a nice level lawn area with a dock. All with great views of the lake and sunsets along with a fire pit. Great swimming, boating and fishing in the summer and all kinds of winter activities on the lake once it freezes. We prefer no pets but may consider a small dog. Definitely no cats. It is not furnished but we do have bed frames and dressers if someone needs them. The septic system is fine but it is not on the sewer line yet so we must limit the number of people living there to 2 or 3. Also because of this there is no Washer or Dryer but there is a Laundromat down the street (1/2 mi.) and a larger one in Willimantic, CT(5 mi.) There is plenty of off road parking for tenants and guests. Rent is $1500 per month plus utilities. (Heat, Electricity) 100 Meg INTERNET with WIFI is included. Deposit is 2 months rent which includes a deposit for a propane fill-up at the end of the lease. A tenant background check is required.
