Hurry, will not last at this affordable price $1,275.00 Century Village West Palm Beach is an age restricted (+55 yrs) active community with 24 hour security and manned gated entrances. Century Village is situated on 29 acres just East of Florida's Turnpike with its two secure gates, one located on Okeechobee Blvd. and East Drive, and another on Haverhill Road and Century Blvd. Century Village is within 5 miles of the Palm Beach International Airport, Florida's Turnpike is less than one mile, I-95 is only three miles away, the Intracoastal waterway, and our pristine world famous beaches are within 8 miles. Also within 5 miles is City Place, our downtown entertainment, dining , and shopping hot-spot. The Clubhouse features amenities such as; barber, beauty parlor, fitness center, library, card and activity rooms, as well as an indoor pool and saunas. The newly remodeled 1200 seat theater hosts current run movies and live entertainment. Free private bus transportation within the village as well as frequent trips to shopping venues and other activities outside of the village. There are fifteen pools ensuring everyone has the possibility of living within walking distance to a pool. Other activities include billiards, tennis, shuffleboard, sailing, biking, and canoeing. There is even an on-site drug store and limited medical services. The restoration of the clubhouse (which was damaged by Hurricane Frances) took many months and approximately 6 million dollars to complete. The building is now complete and boasts a magnificent theater offering live shows by well-known entertainers and current run movies. There is a large party room that seats 512 people with a large dance floor and stage, card room, meeting rooms, hobby and craft rooms, billiard room, sewing room, music room, two exterior swimming pools and one indoor heated saltwater swimming pool, as well as shuffleboard, handball, bocce and racquet ball courts. In addition to the clubhouse there is a large fitness center that has free weights, exercise classes, various exercise machines, a resistance pool and a regular swimming pool where water aerobics are offered. Throughout the Village there are a number of satellite pools, tennis courts and the courtesy bus system which takes residents throughout the Village as well as to nearby stores, malls, restaurants, houses of worship and various excursions. While there are no restaurants in the Village there is a Walgreen's Drug Store, a hair salon and a doctor's office
