Hi there, A little about me and the neighbourhood: I'm leaving as I am going back home to be with my family. I've really enjoyed being close to two parks, the variety of shops 5-10 minutes walk up on 41st Ave, and being fairly close to Pacific Spirit Regional Park (the Arbutus Greenway is pretty neat also). And having in-suite laundry has been an absolute bonus! A little about the apartment: Newly renovated, it comes with a brand new fridge, stove/oven, washer and dryer. Other than that it's unfurnished. The unit hadn't been lived in before I moved in a few months ago. The cupboards and toilet seat all have anti-slam mechanisms fitted (which I love). The apartment looks out on to a cute little garden which has roses in the summer with little hummingbirds whizzing around. There's also a little covered area for storing a bicycle. Parking is available on the street. A lovely family lives upstairs, the son is at university here in Vancouver and the parents split their time between home and the Sunshine Coast. They are very friendly and respectful. Due to the age of the house, there are creaky floorboards etc. so it would suit someone who doesn't mind that. A little about you: A non-smoker (of all the things), non-partier, who is clean and respectful of their living space and likes their home to be a tranquil space. The landlords have emphasized that they really want someone who is going to be quiet, clean and easy to communicate with. It would suit someone who likes to be out and about and then come home to rest. Two references required: A work reference (or proof funds if you have just moved) and a previous landlord/building manager reference. Sadly this is a no pet zone. The rent is $1050 PLUS $50 bills per month. It is available officially from Sunday 1st November but Saturday 31st October may be possible. To give you an idea of space, my bed is huge at king size so it takes up a fair amount of space and my kitchen table is just over a metre in diameter. With a smaller bed and kitchen table, there would be ample room for a sofa. **If you're interested, I'd like to get to know you a little in your email.
