Questions about this property’s policies and fees?
I bought this as a raw section of warehouse floor in 2008 — no walls, no wiring, just timber posts and a century-old plank ceiling — and spent two years designing it with an architect. We built around the structure instead of hiding it. One original column runs through the kitchen island. Another stands in the bathroom with its steel bracket still on it. The kitchen and dining were designed as one piece and built for having people over. A long butcher-block island with the sink and prep space faces straight onto a ten-foot table on the same block, with fir benches down each side and block stools at the end. Ten people fit comfortably, and whoever's cooking is still in the conversation. The table, benches and stools were all made for the room and they stay. 1,350 sq ft of it. Wood-plank ceilings, exposed steel, hardwood floors, black-painted brick, arched window openings left as they were cut. The bathroom is the part people don't expect: deep soaker tub, glass shower big enough for two, and a floating vanity running the length of the wall. Bigger than most bedrooms. I'm renting it fully furnished with everything included — heat, power, water, internet, in-suite laundry, parking. One payment a month, nothing to set up. Show up with a suitcase. The neighbourhood is half the reason I bought here. The Warehouse District is Regina's old brick quarter and the best walking part of the city — pubs and breweries at street level in my own building, restaurants around the corner, and downtown is a short walk. Both hospitals are a quick drive. One honest note: it's open plan. A partition screens the bed rather than a door. Perfect for one person or a couple. Wrong if you need a room that shuts. $3,400/month on a one-year, or $3,300 on a two-year with the rate held. Parking · In-suite laundry · Elevator building · Pets subject to condo board approval
