Cute and convenient Cape Cod house located on quiet one-way street. House contains one-car garage and plenty of driveway parking. Residents may also park on the street. One block from Washington College. Walking distance from downtown Chestertown which includes library, post office, retail shopping, restaurants, parks, playgrounds, bike path, community theater, bakeries, Natural Foods store, Saturday farmer's market, etc. Please note, out insurance does not allow us to rent to students. This is a non-smoking residence. Chestertown hospital and ER are less than half mile away. Main level has 2 bedrooms, office, living room, dining room, kitchen, storage closets, washer, dryer, and full bathroom with linen closet that was completely renovated in 2023. There is an upstairs ensuite that includes a large bedroom, full bath, walk-in cedar closet, and a separate area that can be used as an office, exercise space, etc. This house has a new roof and new windows (to be installed in March). The wood-burning fireplace is fully lined and was cleaned this year. Large backyard is private, quite and has a large deck. Basement is dry, well-lite and has lots of storage space. This house comes lightly furnished as seen in the pictures. Any furniture not needed will be put in the basement. Trash and leaf pickup included in the rent. Note: picture of main floor bath does not show the shower glass door being installed this month Note: the upstairs is heated and cooled with a mini-split HVAC. Downstairs is being converted from oil heat this spring to central HVAC heating and cooling. Owners pay for trash and leaf pickup This is a non-smoking residence. Poor credit ratings will not be considered. Our insurance does not allow us to rent to undergraduate students. Minimum 6-month or1-year lease, renewable.
