Great for professionals, families, or students. Indianhead/Lehigh has a very active neighborhood association plus 2 parks, nature trails, community center, 2 playgrounds, sand volleyball and basketball courts. Indian Head is a special place--it may just be the best neighborhood in the entire city! The homes were built mostly in the 1950s and 60s, and many of them have been updated over the years. The developers did not clear cut, so there are lots of mature old trees and other landscaping that is unlike just about anywhere else in Tally. The neighborhood holds a monthly picnic in the park, a big Halloween party, an annual spring "Nenefest," park clean up days-- all kinds of stuff. There is a mixture of singles, families, couples, young and old. A natural creek that goes the length of the neighborhood is part of a green space with a walking trail that runs along it. There are two parks, and people are always out and about walking babies, dogs, jogging, hanging out at the parks.
