At the base of Long Meadow Mountain (or hill depending on who is measuring!) The house is surrounded with garden areas, acres of meadow and next to a large forested wilderness area with many trails for exploring on foot or on snowshoe in the winter. The kitchen, dining area and living room are in an open floor plan with loads of south facing windows. There is also a den with a window seat and built-in bookshelves. Stainless appliances in kitchen, stove and dishwasher both new this year. A small sunny deck is off the front and a large screened porch looks out over the fields and hillside in the back. Beautiful red birch floors and lots of custom cabinetry in the house. Washer and dryer on main floor. Storage area available in heated dry basement. There is a small studio in walkout basement with separate entrance that we will be keeping apart from rental for very occasional use by our family. Organic vegetable gardens available for use by renter or can be managed by us. High speed internet available from Fairpoint. Best cell service here is through Verizon. Available September 1, 2017. 12 month lease required. No Smoking No Pets Background/Credit Check Required Plowing/Trash included! Tenant pays for Oil heat/hot water, electric (average about $80 per month), lawn care (owner will leave mower) No Pets Allowed
