Security Deposit is due to Cornerstone Realty within 48 hours of application approval. The Lease start date must be within 10 days after approval (certain exceptions may apply). This requirement is applicable even if an approved applicant has not seen the inside of the home. We do a nationwide background check. This includes credit, rental, and criminal background. There are some criminal backgrounds that would be reason for denial, including but not limited to: any conviction misdemeanor or felony that involves ANY violence or selling drugs. Absolutely NO Sex Offenders. All adults (18+) must submit an application. - $50 per application, per adult. We allow pets up to 30lbs. There are certain breeds that our insurance does not allow. Please ask about your dog’s breed upfront, prior to filling out an application, as once we screen your application, the $50 application fee will NOT be refunded. We do charge a one-time $500 non-refundable pet fee. Upon approval, you are required to carry $100,000 worth of Liability Insurance. If you already have renters’ insurance, you may have Liability coverage. If not, you will be required to purchase it through us for $14.50 per month; this does not cover your belongings. This covers the property in the instance of YOUR negligence. Once we screen your application, the $50 application fee will NOT be refunded, whether you are approved OR denied.
