Elizabeth Park offers the famous rose gardens, summer concert series, basketball courts, yoga in the park, ice skating, the pond house cafe, or just wide-open fields for playing or relaxing on a blanket. In the other direction, you are a couple of blocks from Mo's Midtown, a popular breakfast spot in the city (Allegros is up there too). There is also Tangiers (the falafels!), and the new food truck park, West Side Square. The West Hartford line is around the corner, and you are less than a ten-minute drive to Blue Back Square and West Hartford Center where you will find the most popular restaurant and nightlife scene in central CT. The center has a Whole Foods, movie theater, and the best happy hours in the area. UConn law school is walking distance away from this apartment and access to I-84 and downtown Hartford is very convenient. The neighborhood just got recognized as a historic district because of the age and uniqueness of the houses. This apartment is on the top floor of a classic West End three-family home. The apartment is a lot larger than your typical 3rd floor apartment. There is a living room along with two good size bedrooms. There is lots of natural light through the newer Thermopane windows. A surprise here is the amount of storage space with one of the bedrooms having two closets. Another plus is that there is no one above you in this apartment. It makes for a cozy place to call home. The apartment has a newer granite kitchen and a newer subway tile glass shower and designer tile floor! There are newer stainless-steel appliances like the full-size refrigerator and a dishwasher and disposal. There are beautiful granite counters with an ogee finished edge. This efficient kitchen will be easy to cook in and keep clean and organized. There is enough room in the kitchen for a small table. The entire apartment has recently been professionally painted with neutral colors. In addition, all the woodwork has been sanded and re-stained to bring back to is original beauty. The fur floors and oak trim really give the apartment a charming feel. The hardwood floors go throughout the entire apartment. The best part of the apartment is the new high-efficient gas heat and central air! It is very rare to find a multi-family apartment with central air and especially a third-floor unit! Tenant pays for electric and gas. Cold water, landscaping, snow removal is included. There is shared washer and dryer in the basement for your use. There are two off street parking spots available in the back. Please keep in mind we have strict application process that focuses strictly on good credit. We require a minimum of 675 credit score. There is also a background, employment, and income verification. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. There will be only one-month security with a strong application.
