The vision behind The Cottages and Studios at Beach Creek is to offer quality housing that is attainable, livable, and sustainable. The property consists of a large home divided into four separate studios and an Accessory Dwelling Unit. The studios are designed for individual living. Each is equipped with its own bathroom, kitchenette, washer and dryer. A queen size murphy bed is provided in all studios except for the 2-bedroom unit. Each Studio and ADU has its own private patio and exterior entrance. The studios connect to a bright and airy hallway that runs front door to the common kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, oven/range, dishwasher, disposal and dining nook. The entry is framed by large farmhouse style porch. In addition there is large courtyard and community garden for outdoor gathering. Each studio and ADU is secured with its own electronic lock. All utilities are included. This includes fiber internet. A shared electric vehicle will be provided for use by approved tenants who will enjoy the savings of not owning a vehicle—according to AAA around $10,000 per year! The vehicle will be placed in service within 12 months from full occupancy. The Cottages and Studios at Beach Creek were built with muti-modal transportation access in mind. Multimodal transportation includes shared transportation, public transportation, rail, bicycle and pedestrian. Multimodal access supports the needs of all users whether they choose to walk, share a ride, bike, use transit or drive.
