1 Bedroom + office for rent in welcoming Carlington home (share with 1 person) -Available: September 1 or Oct 1 -Rent: $1250/month + utilities to be split between tenant & landlady -Requirements: First & last, credit check, references -Long-term lease (1 year) preferred The Space: You will have a private primary bedroom and second room to use as a home office/den (both unfurnished or I can provide bed + desk). We will share a well-maintained, two-story home on Larose Ave. The house features in-house laundry, a parking spot, 1.5 shared bathrooms, A/C and a backyard with a deck and BBQ. Location: Walking distance to groceries and the Central Experimental Farm. A 10-minute bike ride to Westboro/Hintonburg, 15 minutes by bus to Tunney’s Pasture, and a short commute to Algonquin (4.5 km) or Carleton (5 km). About Me: You will be sharing the house with one other person (the landlady). I am a female professional in my 30s working for the government (WFH 2 days a week). I’m a warm, progressive and conscientious person who balances a busy work week with staying active and spending time outdoors. I value a clean, comfortable space where it’s easy to focus during the day and relax in the evening. I’d love a housemate who enjoys an occasional great conversation, a coffee, or a glass of wine on the deck, but who also has their own independent life and respects quiet downtime. I am looking for: a mature, non-smoking, female/fem-identifying professional or serious student. Because we share the main living areas, a mutual standard of cleanliness is important to including sharing a basic cleaning schedule.
