Landscaping is included. There is a private driveway just for this unit. Lots of parking here. The main house has its own driveway and private entrance. The front door enters into the efficiency kitchen. It has a new refrigerator and a newer stove. A perfect size kitchen table comes with the apartment. Right off this space is the full bath with an updated pedestal sink and fiberglass shower. Our favorite part of the apartment is the second floor living space. Walking up from the kitchen you enter into a spacious living room. This living room gets filled with natural light from the second-floor windows and is a comfortable space to wind down or entertain. There are two bedrooms off the living room on the second floor. One of the bedrooms is oversized and offers enough space to also have an office space in the bedroom. This bedroom has the antique wide plank floors. So cool! It also has a ceiling fan. A shared laundry room and the use of a washer and dryer is included. Again, all utilities are included along with the washer and dryer. There is a convenient access off the porch to the laundry room. Please keep in mind there is a thorough application process that focuses heavily on good credit. A minimum credit score of 675 is required. One year minimum lease. As you walk through the front door you enter into the living room and you immediately get a glimpse of what it was like to live there 200 years ago with the exposed wood ceiling beams and brick fireplace. The room is a great size to fit any size furniture or layout. There are some nice additions like a ceiling fan and built-in bookcases. All the windows have been encased in oak and are oversized providing natural light and a view of the yard. The opposite side of room there is an exposed brick walled staircase leading upstairs to three bedrooms and a half bathroom. This first room is right out of a distinguished antique homes magazine and really sets the feel for the house. Off the living room is the formal dining room with another original wood mantle fireplace. The kitchen is off the dining room and is at one end of the house. This room is large enough for a good size table and a great spot to congregate and cook meals together. It comes with all the appliances including a dishwasher and lots of storage. The house has a lot of flexibility with your choice of layout and rooms. On the first floor there is a bedroom/office with again another period fireplace and built-ins. This is right next to the oversized full bathroom that comes with ample storage. To finish the first floor there is a terrific laundry room. Both the washer and dryer are provided and utilities are paid by the owner. The bedroom/office on the first floor and the two bedrooms upstairs are all above average size and could easily fit king size beds with room left over for other furniture. The fourth bedroom on the second floor has a new laminate wood floor. All the bedrooms have been professionally painted. The entire house has been professionally deep cleaned. Besides the history and feel of the house, the location is a real highlight with highly ranked schools nearby and lots of other attractions like West Hartford Center, parks. Another great feature is that there are eight total rooms among two floors allowing a lot of privacy and space to spread out for roommates. And again, all of these rooms are good sizes.
