Private primary bedroom (10.5’ x 13’) with double-wide closet and private bathroom available in a well-cared-for home near downtown Salt Lake City. The room is unfurnished. This is a shared home with one adult, one 10-year-old child, a fun and friendly dog, and two gorgeous cats. We’re looking for someone who values co-housing and the benefits of sharing space with others. Includes: -Private bedroom + personal bathroom (walk-in shower) -Shared front living room, kitchen, dining area, and laundry -Off-street parking for one vehicle -Family room (desks/TV/work space) is primarily for me and my child- occasional use is fine -Backyard bike storage -Large yard with veggie gardens, native flower beds, fire pit, and sitting areas -No shared indoor storage beyond the bedroom (small outdoor storage cabinet may be added) -This home is also wheelchair accessible and the primary bathroom is wheelchair friendly with a roll in shower and support rails. Good Fit If You: -Value both social connection and time alone -Enjoy occasional shared meals or conversation -Are comfortable with a child, pets, and normal household noise -Take shared responsibility for cleanliness and care of the home (and the yard if you choose to use it regularly) -Can take accountability for your needs and your impact on shared space Quiet hours are generally 10pm–6am, with flexibility. This is a lived-in home — sometimes quiet, sometimes playful. It’s not a monastery and not a party house. Our home is LGBTQ+ friendly.
