And if you think the class ends with the kitchen, the bathroom's wide-tile floor, faux-marble vanity top and woven-rattan cupboard fronts bed to differ. The tile tub surround features built-in shelves, hooks and bars so you'll have plenty of space for your shower accessories. The living room, however, trades the class in for good old-fashioned comfort. It's decked out in high-pile wall-to-wall carpet to keep the room cozy. The dining area is wide open to the living room and the kitchen and shares the same carpet as the living room as well. In an odd twist, the stairs down to the side door and basement are on the opposite side of the dining room from the kitchen. In the bedrooms, you'll find basically the same amenities: carpeted floors, double-door closets, and two windows. Downstairs, the basement is largely wide-open, with a space in the middle devoted to the furnace and water heater; a space along one wall with workbench (with pegboard setup for tool storage), a utility sink and W/D hookups; and the second bathroom.
