Income Verification: Stable, legally verifiable gross household income must be equal to or greater than 2.5 times the monthly rent. All legal forms of income and assistance are accepted. Credit Standing: Credit reports must demonstrate consistent repayment history, no active bankruptcies, and no substantial open collection accounts. Criminal Background Check: Conducted in compliance with ORS 90.304 and HUD guidelines. Blanket exclusions are not utilized; an individualized assessment will be conducted considering the nature, severity, and age of any past convictions, alongside evidence of rehabilitation. Prior to paying the screening charge, applicants have the right to receive full written screening criteria, information on their right to dispute consumer reporting data.
