Available: September 1 I am offering to rent out a large fully furnished room on the top floor of a huge three level home on Cypress Street near 49th Avenue in Vancouver. Wiltshire & Angus bus stops on 49th Avenue are only 1-2 minutes walk and has very frequent buses. UCW/downtown/UBC can be reached by public transportation in about 25 minutes. The house is located in Kerrisdale which is a very safe and upscale/posh neighbourhood of Vancouver. The HOUSE is 4900 Square Feet (on 7,800 sq ft lot) so there is lots of living space with a newer large kitchen, living room, full Laundry Room and ample outdoor space. The BATHROOM is huge: 45 Square Feet (10.5 Feet Length * 4.25 Feet Width). It is to be shared with one other male student from India, living in adjoining room. He is an undergraduate student at UBC). This BEDROOM is huge: 161 Square Feet (14 Feet Length * 11.5 Feet Width). It is on the top floor (and not in the basement) of the house. It is has a very large Window and a Good Sized Closet. Very bright with lots of natural light, and excellent view of the backyard, from the window. It is FULLY FURNISHED -- Queen Size Bed, Desk, Chair, Small Couch, Two Book Shelves, good sized personal refrigerator, pedestal fan, table lamp etc! Most other furnishings requested can also be provided. The whole house has EXTREME HIGH SPEED INTERNET and living room (shown in the photograph) has 50" HD TV's with several Channels in HDPVR Television. Besides sharing the main kitchen ( which is quite big) on the main floor (and is shown in the photograph) there is another mini kitchenette on the bedroom floor with microwave, toaster oven, sandwich maker, hot water kettle, mixer etc. Also provided is pantry space outside room for food items not requiring refrigeration. In the kitchen you can use all the pots, pans, cutlery etc already there. Also available for use is the deck area at the back of the house which has sofas to relax on (shown in the photographs). A must see to realise the niceness of the room and the associated facilities. Bus stop is a 1-2 minute walk. UCW/Downtown is about 25-30 minutes by bus. UBC is approximately 20-25 minute bus ride via 49th Avenue Bus. Top High Schools are only minutes walk away (ie Magee and Point Grey Secondary Schools). 49th Avenue bus stop is just one minute walk from the home Langara is a 7 minute bus ride via 49th Avenue Bus. Easy access to Downtown via the Canada Line and Granville and Arbutus Buses (takes less than half hour by public transportation to go to downtown). Save-on-Foods, a large grocery store is just four blocks away (four minutes walk) The Kerrisdale neighbourhood is one of the premier locations in Vancouver and has a lot of amenities within a short walk such as: many restaurants, shops, cafes, Community Centre, Library, parks, banks and ice rink.
