Hi! We are owners with a condo for rent at 1633 west 8th avenue. We are suggesting $1865 monthly rent. The condo is spacious for a 1 bdrm, bright, warm in winter and cool in summer, facing north on a slope so basically second floor at that side. Nice mountain views in two directions and lovely view of mature gardens. Individuals or couples love living in it and stay 2 to 4 years usually, and we would definitely prefer a rental 6 months or more pls and thx. The carpet and appliances were replaced 2019 (carpet is same high end product that we have in our home). Bedroom is 14 ft x 10 ft and can fit a king size bed easily with lots of room to spare or a queen and a home office space (we could assist you to rig a divider if you wish). There are two closets in the bedroom - one being a walk-in. Eating bar sits 3 OR it fits a table for 3 right beside it. In addition lots of room beside that for a 3 seater sofa and entertainment unit. The bathroom is l-shaped with two doors making it a semi-ensuite. It is a concrete condo building that is majority owner-occupied, quiet and well maintained. It has a bike room, gym, sauna, gardens, hobby room with chop saw and paint area, secure underground tenants’ parking as well as buzz in underground visitor's parking with a vehicle/bike wash. Small bbq's are allowed on the balconies. Heating is electric and is about $25 monthly. Hot water/water is included. No smoking and sorry no vaping inside the suite or on the balcony or in any common areas including the gardens. But the walking around there is awesome! One block from Granville and Broadway, 15 min walk to Granville Island, 20 min walk to the beach. No Frills Grocery is 4 blocks away. Nice sized balcony with flooring. Full mountain view from the gym. Condo has massive entry way closet and a large full height storage locker one floor lower about 8ftx8ft. Security alarm. If you have a vehicle - there is included 1 secure underground parking spot that fits a king size truck. We live 10 min drive away and are very attentive to the suite and our tenants. Asking $1865 and strata asks for $150 which covers move in/out/furniture deliveries/etc. There is some wiggle room in this which depends on your circumstances (student, etc).
