The Laneway Home is located behind the main house, and is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit of approximately 505sqft. The main level consists of the Bedroom and the Bathroom. The bathroom has all new fixtures and finishings, including the vanity, toilet and bathtub. The bedroom will fit up to a queen sized bed. Up the staircase is the main living area, which includes the Kitchen in addition to the Living/Dining space. This space has over height vaulted ceilings and light coloured laminate flooring helping to make it bright and cheerful. As one of the main advantages to living in a laneway home, there are windows on opposite walls, providing added light and cross breezes to help keep things cool in the summer. The upper level also has a balcony. The Kitchen is tucked along the right side of the upper level, and has brand new appliances, cabinetry, countertops and fixtures, including the fridge and the stove/oven. A window located over the kitchen sink allows for added fresh air while cooking. There are 2 large sloped roof storage closets, one at each end of the kitchen, providing extra pantry space and additional storage. A brand new washer and dryer has been installed on the upper level There is not a parking space included, however there is plenty of street parking located along East 2nd Avenue. This is a no pet and no smoking rental. The location is close to transit, just a couple of minutes walk to the stop for busses going to Renfrew Skytrain Station and to the Renfrew Community Centre, both of which are just a short bus ride down Renfrew Street. This is also just a couple of minutes walk to the 1st Ave Marketplace which has a T&T Supermarket in addition to a selection of shops and eateries. Trout Lake is also a short trip away, and can be reached by car in less than 10 minutes.
