In pristine, beautiful Deep Cove, you are immersed in the incredible wild nature of B.C., and still only 20 minutes from Downtown Vancouver! (Our start date will be this coming January 1st or February 1st.) As to location, we are at the foot of Mount Seymour, a great ski hill just a 15 minute drive up the road. You can access incredible hikes from your doorstep, kayaking and boating up Indian Arm, and many more great outdoors adventures while having easy access to the city and close to the acclaimed SeaCove Schools. We extended the roof above the deck so that it's completely covered. It means you can be out on the deck at all times of the year. The only thing that has changed in the open Living Room area is we have improved it, replacing the old 1960's Fireplace with a new Wood Burning Stove that is much more efficient (with a large supply of wood). The garden now has multi level bench seating including its own trails throughout. Deanna, the architect owner has lovingly remodelled her prize home, preserving the rich warmth of the Cedar walls and exposed beams, and taking advantage of the amazing views over Deep Cove which you can see from the panoramic windows, the big, wide deck, and the outdoor hot-tub. The house is on a large (200 ft x 50 ft, 10,000 square foot) lot with a mountain stream. We provide all the amenities you need to call home, so that you can be self- sufficient and economical, all with a garden hot tub below with it's own view and the stream running through the entire property. We include great furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, a recently added wood burning stove, fresh linens and towels, and a package with maps, information, and tips to help you acclimatize. All utilities and services are all free and unlimited, including; a new 60" Hisense Smart Flat Screen TV with cable, Netflix and Amazon Prime, a recently installed Furnace, on demand Hot Water Heater and high-speed fibre optic wireless internet for all your devices!!! You will love being in the quiet yet friendly Deep Cove Community with it's local theatrical plays and quaint downtown. It couldn't be more lovely. We have room for 2 cars parked on a level surface in front of our carport. The very small amount of street parking on this narrow street is highly valued by residents who mostly have steep driveways. You must see the property to appreciate it. We are happy to rent our property for a family up to four people and we are also Pet Friendly. We can consider a long term rental from February 4th or March 1st. We ask for a minimum 1 months but also like longer stays. (Please contact us for info or a viewing time (Please Note:) There is a charge of $400 per month for utilities, covering Optik TV, WiFi, Fiber Optics Internet, electrics and heating. Fourteen years ago we built a suite under the main house with extra sound insulation where my wife and I reside. (We are very quiet but are there if you need us!)
