AVAILABLE DECEMBER 1st AND PERHAPS SOONER: Large bachelor suite in a very clean, nicely maintained and well operated Apartment building. The suite is large for a bachelor (about 525 sq ft) with a large balcony (about 8 ft x 12 ft or about 100 sq ft), so total suite area is about 625 sq ft. New plank flooring and modern wide baseboards have been installed throughout the entire suite. The suite has a full size frost free fridge and a full size stove. The suite also has a dishwasher. The closet adjacent to the sleeping area has been fully organized so that there is over 10 feet of hanging space. The windows in the sliding patio door have vertical blinds. The layout includes a kitchen, an eating area, a large living room, a full bathroom with a tub and shower, a sleeping area and a large balcony that is accessed though sliding glass patio doors. The rest of the suite has been nicely updated as well, including: granite style countertops on both the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, new sinks with single lever taps, white shaker style cupboard doors and drawer fronts on the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, a ceiling fan in the dining area, a 4 foot wide mirror in the bathroom which extends the full width of the bathroom countertop with a chrome light bar over the bathroom mirror. The suite is on the 3rd floor and has a large balcony which is accessed through a 9 foot wide sliding patio doors. From the balcony there is a nice view of downtown Vancouver and the Lions Gate Bridge. The common areas of the building have also been extensively updated. On the outside, these include new vinyl double pane windows, balcony railings and membranes on all balcony decks, metal fencing at the front of the building, motion activated security lighting etc. On the inside of the building, these updates include new carpeting in all hallways, repainting all hallways and entry doors, ceramic tile floor in the lobby, a camera in the lobby from which you can view the building entry on your TV etc. Recently we updated our intercom system so guests can call directly to the tenant’s cell or land line from the front entry door. The Building has on-site caretaker, an elevator, underground parking garage with a perforated metal, remote controlled garage door & a bicycle storage room. There are 2 separate laundry rooms, one on the 1st floor and one on the 3rd floor. Each laundry room has 2 new card operated washers and 2 new card operated dryers. Transit is just a few steps away - Commercial Drive (North/South) and Hastings Street (East/West). Downtown Vancouver can be accessed in about 5 minutes by car or about 10 minutes by bus. The Broadway and Commercial Skytrain station can be reached in just a few minutes. The rent for this renovated bachelor suite is $1,679.00 per month. The rent includes hot water. A designated parking stall in the underground garage is available for an additional charge of $70.00 per month. One year lease required.
