The Historic Cary House Hotel provides a comfortable environment with amenities such as air conditioning, cable TV, tea and coffee maker, and iron with ironing board. While the unit does not include a full kitchen or eating utensils, the charm of the hotel more than makes up for it. On-site parking is available for $10 per vehicle, with a one-car limit. Make sure to book your parking spot beforehand. Dogs are welcome, up to two per stay, with a $50 pet fee. Service animals are exempt from pet fees, but aggressive breeds are not allowed. Located directly on the way to Lake Tahoe, the hotel is a short stroll from Main Street Placerville, where you can explore antique shops, art galleries, coffee shops, and local eateries.
