The interior reflects a perfect harmony of style and functionality. The kitchen is fully functional with an electric cooktop, gas oven, fridge and freezer, and small appliances. The private outdoor patio is a haven for al fresco dining or simply unwinding in the fresh air, with seating for four and a gas firepit. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis with an additional fee of $35 per pet per night. Baby equipment is available on a first come first serve basis for an additional fee. Located in the coveted Railyard district, this casita provides a walkable and bikeable lifestyle. Embrace the convenience of easy access to the Farmer's Market, eclectic shopping, diverse restaurants, theaters, and the nearby train station. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to walking trails, providing a seamless blend of urban and outdoor living. The home is located in central Santa Fe, right along St Francis Drive. While Santa Fe is not a large city, there is potential for outside road noise and foot traffic due to the property's proximity to the center. Recently, new windows were added in the master bedroom, which have significantly reduced the noise levels. The noise was measured at 45 decibels inside. Once in town, getting around is easy. Downtown Santa Fe and the surrounding historic districts are compact and most conveniently traveled on foot. The Railyard District is a large arts district with galleries, performance spaces, a cinema, restaurants and antique shops. The Santa Fe Plaza is about 1.5 miles away and features many historical/arty locations, such as the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis de Asissi, Palace of the Governors and Loretto Chapel. Canyon Road is a short walk or drive as well (1.5mi). There are many galleries and restaurants there. Museum Hill is off of Old Santa Fe Trail and is the home to the Botanical Gardens, Museum of Indian Arts, International Folk Art Museum and Wheelwright Museum. The Santa Fe Ski Basin is about thirty minutes away. There are trails for every kind of hiker here; Some a mere ten minutes up the hill from your casita (Atalaya Trail), and others further out of town. Quiet time in the neighborhood is between 10 pm and 6 am. If evidence of an unapproved pet is found at the property you will be charged a minimum $300 cleaning fee. Smoking indoors is not allowed, and if renting a multi-house property and other guests are located adjacent or near your rental, please do not smoke within 20 feet of other renters or houses. You will be charged a $500 cleaning fee if you smoke in the house. If you are overly sensitive to noise, ear plugs or finding an alternate property is suggested. The home is equipped with a smart TV that allows you to stream your favorite shows using your accounts. The landscaper comes every other Monday to clean up around the patios, driveway, and yard areas. Lost key/lockout fee is $50. Please park only in the designated parking area.
