Feel at home and enjoy views of Rockport’s waterfront, including Front Beach, Folly Cove, Motif 1, and Rockport Harbor, from the rooftop deck. Watch the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean as first light illuminates Thatcher Island. This cottage features nautical accents, including antique ship replicas and ship instruments. A floor-to-ceiling field stone fireplace connects the living room with the dining room, which has a table that seats 6-10 people. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size appliances: a dishwasher, a new stainless-steel gas stove, and a new stainless-steel refrigerator. There is a cozy reading nook on the oversized landing with a twin daybed. The full bathroom has a shower/tub combination with grab bars, and the half bathroom includes a full-size washer and dryer. Enjoy high-speed, private Wi-Fi and a TV in the living room. Window AC units are in the living room, dining room, and both bedrooms. Enjoy the breakfast deck with water views. Free parking options include the lot off of Old Harbor Road, which is .1 mile from the cottage, and free parking lots at the train station and 2 Blue Lane Road on Rt 127, where free shuttles will bring you back to downtown Rockport. During the winter, meters and kiosk parking is free. All seasons, on-street parking outside of the meter and kiosk areas is free. The cottage is a short stroll to Rockport’s downtown, the Shalin Liu Performance Center, the art galleries, Rockport Harbor, and Front Beach. All the venues of Bearskin Neck are moments from the doorstep, and downtown Rockport is equally convenient. The desk in the dining room offers views of classic and colorful cottages. Smoking or vaping in the home or on the property is strictly prohibited and will result in a fine and immediate eviction. No parties, events, performing artists, or bands are allowed at any time, and these are cause for eviction with no refund. This property does not host pets. Includes two workspaces: a desk in the dining room and a large table in the master bedroom.
