Student Accommodation Room Description: private bedroom roughly 11.5 ft x 10.5 ft (120 sq ft / 11.1 sq m), plus a 5 ft x 2 ft closet. Window outlook to forest and morning sun. Furnishing: double bed (135 cm wide), night table, desk, desk chair, laundry hamper. If additional furniture is needed we are open to requests. Bathroom: a full (5-piece) bathroom, which may a times be shared with another student. Laundry: access via a weekly schedule (shared with host family). Kitchen & Dining Area: access to a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances (shared with host family). Internet: High-speed, secure hardwired internet is included. Utilities: All utilities (water, electricity, heat) included. Cleaning: some regular cleaning services provided. Location: Picturesque Upper Lonsdale, close to forest trails, 450 meters from the 230 bus stop (to/from Lonsdale Quay & Seabus) and a 5 minute drive to all amenities (eg groceries, gym, coffee shops, restaurants, etc). Parking: On-street, in front of the house. Pets & Other Guidelines: Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets of any size. The property is smoke-free. Marijuana and vaping are strictly prohibited. For privacy purposes, no visitors are allowed. Due to host family sensitivities to artificial scents, we ask that no synthetic fragrances or perfumes be used. Term Length: We prefer a semester long occupancy (3-4 months), however, we are open to shorter durations (1 month minimum). About Us: We are a quiet, organized, clean, professional married couple who work from home. We are an English speaking home but also offer some ability to communicate in Cantonese and Mandarin. We are happy to help with understanding of Canadian and West Coast culture, local amenities and how to get around on the North Shore. This could be the perfect fit for you if you value a serene living environment surrounded by nature.
