Excellent communication & customer service from the on site staff. I loved the tenant portal so I could pay online & submit maintenance requests conveniently. Quiet complex close to the main part of Jacksonville.

I recently moved here from Raleigh area. I can’t speak to ‘the rent going up’ from whatever it had been, as my current 2bd/1ba apartment costs half as much as my 1bd apartment did in Raleigh. The models at Park West are not as ‘modern’ as across the street at Crown or as my previous apartment in Raleigh (“overpriced luxury apartments”) but Park West apts are roomy. Perhaps I lucked out, but I moved into a unit with fresh paint and carpet. The porch (I am 1st floor) is SCREENED IN with a PORCH DOOR so I can leave the sliding door open and not worry about bugs crawling in. I did put an outdoor rug down on the ‘concrete’ porch but it faces a back treeline so it is quiet, private and very peaceful. Maintenance came I think the next day to fix any issues upon move in. They even painted the wood portion of the porch!! (I didnt ask them to) I called today for something small and they showed up less than 5 minutes later The move in process was easy- the office staff was great. They are always kind when I stop in. Perhaps not super talkative because they are busy (hopefully they don’t hate me, I think I am an easy/ nice tenant!) but they are very quick to handle any issues or answer any questions Also the few tenants I have briefly met thus far are extremely nice. Hoping as time goes on I can make friends here.
