My boyfriend and I toured all the apartment buildings (~6) in the greater area of South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger, and liked this one the most. This building is unique as it has a luxury feel and is right downtown. The apartments has nicer touches you don't typically see in a rental, i.e. high ceilings, 8 foot doors, much better interior finishes, and really big kitchens for entertaining. It's the only one in South Bend with higher floors where you actually have a view. All apartments are floor 5 and above as the lower floors are parking and retail. There were also a bunch of art & culture perks like tickets to the symphony and sponsored box to the Morris Performing Art Center, etc. The building is brand new, which is a huge plus, and management seems to be obsessively improving the building based on tenant feedback. The one downside compared to the other apartment complexes was there aren't a lot of amenities but we didn't mind as much as we'll probably rarely use them and cared the most about the quality of the unit we live in and the location. The location is great, you can walk to a lot of restaurants on both sides of the river and the Commerce Center is next door with an eclectic hipster vibe. We were also pleasantly surprised by some other random tidbits about the building like energy efficiency and soundproofing, which made us feel like there was a lot of thought and high quality behind things we may not known to have asked about.

Apartments are probably the most luxurious you'll find in the South Bend area. Management and maintenance are super helpful and so nice!
