Looking for a roommate in my two-bedroom apartment on the 10th floor of an 18-floor building. I have outlined in red the room available. Utilities (Water, Heat, Electricity) are included in the rent. Internet is extra. Parking is available for $65 a month in the parking lot. In total the monthly rent would be about $850 factoring in internet. The lease is a 12-month lease starting April 1 2020. The building features a hot tub, sauna, and indoor pool on the 18th floor. The property has an outdoor tennis and badminton court, and also an outdoor pool. The building has coin laundry on the floor, as well as on the ground floor. The room is unfurnished, however I will be buying furniture for the living room and common areas (couch, dining table, microwave, etc.). The apartment has 1.5 bathrooms so I have a half bathroom (toilet/sink), and we will share the shower in the main bathroom (water pressure in the shower is great btw). The apartment does not have AC, but you can bring a window/portable AC. The large balcony, and your room overlook Hog's Back falls, and Mooney's Beach, and the building is across from a McDonald's and Shoppers (among other stuff). It is also ideally situated between many bus routes, and walking distance to Carleton. I will be moving into it on April 1 so more pictures aren't available, however, if we're a good fit, you can see the place before signing the lease (arranged with the building staff). About me: I'm a young adult finishing his Masters at Carleton University and working in the government/private sector. I am social, but I tend to work a lot so I don't party or stay out. I would prefer to find someone that is studious or quiet during the weekdays, but if you would like to socialize/get drinks, etc. on the weekend I'm always down! I'm a very outdoorsy person so you won't catch me lounging around much in the summer, but you're always welcome to come hiking, biking, etc. I'm a tidy person so I would hope that you are, too.
