I absolutely love living at Mountain Valley and would recommend it to anyone, especially pet owners. I am a very picky person when it comes to choosing a complex and I can honestly say Mountain Valley does not disappoint at all. From free parking for my friends and me (yeah Morgantown people I said PARKING, free parking DOES exist. Crazy right?), dog parks and potty areas for my pup, an awesome rec center with gym and tanning, some of the friendliest staff EVER, to the apartments themselves, this place really does have it all. I have a one bedroom apartment here so I was concerned with not having enough storage space for all my extra stuff. I was amazed when I moved in at how well the layout was made in the floor plan so that there was actually so much space for storage in both my kitchen AND my bedroom. I’ve had no issues with anything besides a flickering light which is super minor and I figured would be examined within a week or so after I reported it. NOPE. First thing Monday morning maintenance was there and finished within 10 minutes. Overall I am extremely happy living here and will be without a doubt renewing my lease for next year because I couldn’t see myself living anywhere else after residing here. Mountain Valley really does set the bar high!

Literally love them. After talking with some of the neighbors I found out it’s more for longer term living (one guy I spoke with had been here for a few years), they don’t blow up my emails or texts. A very clean and quiet place to live <3

Mountain Valley is great. In living here over almost two years this has been a great experience. I plan to continue to live here for at least the next year or two! Extremely friendly staff, great maintenance, and very nice apartments. Edit: I want to add after living at Mountain Valley 4 years and moving out they were completely reasonable about any charges after turning in keys. All 4 years were very good.

I live in a unfurnished 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. I've lived here for 2 years and will keep living here until I'm done with school (another 2 or 3 years). Our apartment has tons of space, storage, and natural light. I love it here. Everything has been great except the maintenance during our first year here. It took over half a year to get maintenance in our apartment to fix our leaking kitchen sink. This is because there was only one maintenance guy at the time. Since then they have hired a few more people. Maintence doesn't seem to be much of an issue now. The last maintence request we put was fixed within a week. It's super quiet which is great for studying. MVAP is very pet friendly. My dog loves it here. The shuttle and bus seems to run on schedule. I've only ridden it a few times but I always see the bus or shuttle at the bus stop and the drivers are awesome. The office holds events all the time. We get free food and goodies from them frequently. If you're looking for an apartment to live in Morgantown, I highly recommend MVAP!

It is been over a year I moved here and I don't think this place is that bad as the other reviewers claim. First of all, their pet policy is the best in Morgantown, there are no monthly charges, only one time fee. In addition, there is a small dog park where you can meet other dog owners. Secondly, there is no security deposit, just a co-signer, no worries about getting back the deposit in the end. Third, it is very quiet and peaceful most of the time (I think our neighbors had a party only two-three times over a year) Management is always nice and helpful with every concern, I placed two times maintenance order, they came in 2-3 days and fixed the problems (dishwasher and the AC). They fixed all the roads inside the complex and the access road was repaired last fall. Maintenance is always around fixing, cleaning, working hard. I don't use the gym too much but, it seems like a decent place, useful if you needed, the basketball court is very popular, and the most crowded place, people coming from outside to play. The swimming pool is not a olympic size=) but It is very relaxing, especially in the evening when there is nobody else. Generally this place is not perfect but very quiet and peaceful, if you are a professional or graduate student having pets, this is a good place. And also you definitely need a car, public transportation is not very reliable all the time.

Mountain Valley is a great place to live! The shuttle drivers are always friendly and on time, the office staff is helpful, and maintenance is prompt. The apartments are beautiful and the complex has fun things, like pet costume contests. The GPA discount is fantastic!

I have always had amazing and prompt service from MV’s wonderful maintenance crew going into my third year of living here. Most recently, my AC was acting up and they were out within an hour to fix it.

I have lived here going on 3 years now. I have lived in a 1BR, 3BR, and now this year I just moved into the 2BR. Moving in this year was the best experience so far. The apartment was in near perfect condition and the transfer process was very flexible and easy to maneuver. The property and staff have continued to better itself in my honest opinion. They have been so helpful and considerate to me and everyone else I know here! The maintenance crew have also been amazing this past year-now. I am very pleased and happy with this place!
