The maintenance team and the leasing team here are incredible. Anytime I input a maintenance request, they act on it either that day or the very next. I put in a maintenance request to replace my CO detector one morning, and there was a maintenance tech at my door not even 2 hours later! They are on it. Jerry and Morgan (a couple of the maintenance guys I've met) are very knowledgeable, and their customer service is outstanding. It's SO important to have a strong maintenance team at a complex, and they definitely have it. Anytime I email the leasing office, someone gets in touch with me within the hour or absolute max later in the day. Also, Martin and Nikki are fabulous at managing the property. I had the pleasure of meeting both of them today because I've had some issues with my pipes freezing with these colder temperatures, and they told me they were adding insulation to my building sometime in March/April and would also give me those dates once they receive them. I am very pleased with that outcome, because it should make a huge difference for next winter. I was pretty worried about the situation of my running water (especially the function of my toilet and shower), and they took the stress out of the situation. Overall, they have a remarkable team and it's been great living here!

Dylan w. Was the technician that came today to fix my bedroom closet door. He did an awesome job. I had fallen completely off. I let a note not to close the door because I have a cat and I was afraid he would hide in the closet when someone came it. Dylan did exactly as I requested. The door seems very secure now. Do I appreciate the work. But also as I mentioned I have a cat who hides sometimes from people and especially when someone comes in and I am not home. He usually is upset when I get home and is still hiding. Not today. I don't know why . He met me at the door same as always. So I really appreciate that. Finally a note was left on the outside of my door that a technician had been in my apartment, a not in my apartment stating what was done and signed by the technician! I am more than satisfied with the work and the speed on which it got done. I love living at Valley Stream Apartments. I highly recommend this community!
