Everything has honestly gotten better over the years even though I haven't had a chance to actually live in there because of personal reasons I wasn't able to move on things happened but that being said when scheduled showing everything was amazing, clean organized and their new landlord Mrs. Eddie has been the most amazing person to ensure everyone's safety and satisfaction she works with you and there is anything you need don't hesitate to ask questions or concerns and she will do it as quickly as possible.

fair price but not so good policies. you can have your place spotless the hole time you live there and they will do everything in there power to keep your deposit.

The apartments at Hillside were me and my fiance's first apartment. Therefore, we really didn't know what to look for. Needless to say, the first day that we moved in we discovered that there was mold in the bathroom. Not only that but, the bathtub looked as though someone had played in mud and then decided to come home and take a bath. Also, when we received our keys, mine would not work. I asked the landlord (if that's what you would call him) for a new key and his response was, "Just use your fiance's key to have a new one made." Now, keys are very inexpensive, but I just don't feel as though it was our responsibility to waste gas and time going to have a key made when we were both promised our own key from the very beginning. Secondly, we lived there for two years. We would have moved sooner, but in between working, school, and a new baby, we just couldn't find the time to do so. We decided to officially leave when the apartment complex decided to randomly increase rent for each resident. The problem with that was the fact that when we asked why rent was being raised, no one had an answer. If there were going to be some repairs/maintenance, or some form of improvements done that would not had been an issue. So, in January 2013 we moved out (it was the end of our 2 year lease). We were aware that we would have to pay to have the carpet cleaned. However, we were never given a price on how much that would cost. The only thing that we knew was that it was going to come out of our deposit. So now it is April 12th and after chasing after Bobby and calling around looking for him in an attempt to get our deposit back, he finally calls us to let us know that we will not be receiving our $300 deposit back at all. He says that the carpet cleaning was $200 and other maintenance came up to $100. That to me is B.S. When we moved out, we had the apartment spotless! We vacuumed, took out trash, cleaned the bathtub, cabinets, refrigerator, etc. I'm starting to wish that we would had left trash in the apartment, left food in the refrigerator, and not cleaned up anything; just took what we needed and left. I hate to feel like I am being taken advantage of. And... as much as I was trying to avoid leaving a negative review, I just feel like this could help someone so that they are not taken advantage of the same way that we were. A few good things about the apartment are: it was very spacey. The storage room was very nice and one of my favorite things about the apartment. Secondly, walmart is in walking distance. On nice, beautiful days, we would walk to walmart to get some fresh air. Lastly, the parking spaces were nice. I always came home to a good parking space
