I lived here for a little over two years and I was completely impressed with the experience from start to finish. Some notes:
From my very first tour until moving out, the entire office and maintenance team has gone above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. They answer questions and address maintenance requests quickly, and they go out of their way to chat here and there or give my dog a treat. Absolutely no complaints. Huge shout out to Dallas, Afton, Chris, Mike, and Jack for making me and my dog feel so welcome during our time here!
The apartments have been great to live in — lots of natural light from the oversized windows, nice appliances and quartz counters, heat and AC work great, can't hear my neighbors at all. The same goes for the grounds — the landscaping, parking areas, and paths are well-maintained and clean. The entire place is also very well-lit, so it feels safe when I'm coming home after a late dinner or movie.
The broader neighborhood is a great place to live if you want to be somewhere walkable. There's a cafe/coffee shop, a few restaurants, a hair salon, and a little market all within walking distance. There are also two parks within a few blocks, which is a nice perk if you have a dog (or kids). Neighbors are generally easygoing and friendly so it feels like a community — I've even made friends with quite a few neighbors, who I have over for wine nights once a month.
In short, I highly recommend living here. If I wasn't moving out of state, I'm sure I'd still be here!

Amazing facility with really genuine people running the whole thing! We rent a studio here and it is just great, everything is brand new, they take the unit you apply for off the market until you are approved/denied so there isn't a waiting list, super spacious with heater and air conditioning in unit. Perfect location, directly on the bus line and close to a lot of cool businesses like a spa, Thai food, etc. Highly recommend checking it out and giving them a call!

We lived here for almost two years, but unfortunately we had to move out of state. The McKenzie Apartments are really nice, modern, clean , cozy and well maintained. They are in great location, you have everything you might need 5-8 min away. The staff is really nice and helpful when you have any questions or issues. The maintenance is very profesional, and the amenities are nice and clean all the time. I will be missing these apartments.
Just got the keys last night and love it thus far. I’ve had nothing but incredible interactions with the staff, especially Shelly who tolerated me calling with questions multiple times a day. The application process was easy and fluent. My girlfriend and I didn’t have a credit history and they happily worked through it with us. An absolutely best in class amount of lease options with no price fluctuations. Being 6’3 the high ceilings are amazing and I’m beyond excited to start using all the amenities. Also EXTREMELY pet friendly. We have a very large lab and we were having a very hard time finding a home for him and they allowed him no questions asked. Can’t wait to call this place home.
Quick Edit: Upon initial inspection of our apartment we found something that appeared to be damage and upon notifying the staff they responded quickly and professionally. Couldn’t have wished for a better team.
The McKenzie at Crescent Village stands out above most others. Coming from out of state, I relied heavily on my Leasing specialist to communicate with me and get me information quickly and in great detail. Chris went the extra mile to give me a zoom tour and follow up with additional things I wanted and needed to know to make my decision. He took additional time to tour a family member on my behalf. Chris was thorough, attentive, & professional. He was skilled in communicating in a courteous, fun and upbeat manner. Chris spoke highly of members of management, Dallas and Afton. He let me know he enjoyed working with them and how he had seen firsthand how they strive to provide residents with an enjoyable living experience. Chris made me feel like I was a top priority even when he had other residents and potential residents he was assisting. After searching many other locations and communities, The McKenzie was my top choice. I am extremely happy with my choice to live here.
I had to come back and update with some words! Absolutely love the level of service provided by every employee I've ever interacted with. From Kaleb explaining the application process (5 years ago!!) To Christopher helping with the new system, and every wonderful instance in between. I have never had a poor experience with anyone. Love my McKenzie team ❤️
We just rented a 1 bedroom apt here and it has been such a pleasure! Afton helped us so much and went over the top to get us in during the time we had which was very fast!! We also got help from Alexis, she was there to help when Afton was off. Great location, beautiful space!!! Thank you for getting us in!!
