I just moved into the ONYX apartment complex. From the beginning, the leasing office and property managers were incredibly professional, flexible, helpful, and top notch. Marshel Case (business manager) is exceptional. He is meticulous, communicates promptly, and is an efficient problem solver. Even though I was unable to see the apartments in person, he was able to give a very thorough review virtually and answered all my questions (and there were very many). He was able to quickly resolve any logistical issues that came up, and helped make the leasing and move-in process extremely smooth. In terms of the apartments, everything here is completely new and feels well-constructed. There are gated entryways, 24-hour security, and parking is available on the street as well as reserved spots for an extra fee. The buildings are 3-story walk-ups. Despite being near the freeway, noise level is relatively low due to good insulation. Overall, the new construction, excellent management, amenities, and convenient location make this a very desirable place to live. I highly recommend considering this apartment complex.

I moved into Onyx about a month ago after only touring it virtually. The leasing office, Vanessa especially, was super helpful and answered all of my questions. The building is fairly new and renovated (which I appreciate so much), my neighbors are really sweet and the complex overall is nicely built. The only cons I have are things that Onyx can’t really control but nonetheless, I listed them below: Pros: New building, Renovated, Great price for quality, Friendly & responsive leasing staff, Cordial neighbors, Quiet, Key fob/gated entrances Cons: Dusty/leafy exterior because of trees and nearby freeway, Lots of surrounding homelessness and transients (especially after 9pm) which contribute to random garbage scattered down the block (Outside the complex. Like, there’s been a Target cart at the end of the the block for like 2 days) and no elevator for this 3 story building (only stairs).
