My family of 3 + 1 large dog moved in 2.6 years ago after new management had taken over. Claire and Emily are hands down the most kind and attentive management team I have EVER met! A new company bought the complex and remodeled every unit. They look great inside now! Please ignore any negative reviews as they are most likely out dated or posted by some troll or cantankerous individual. The staff is VERY responsive to maintenance requests and goes above and beyond to meet your needs. The beach is beautiful and many fun community activities are planned annually. It is safe and incredibly affordable for all the amenities you get living here! When I had a very bad car accident that left me wheel chair bound, Claire and Emily would open the office early and/or stay late so that I could access a wheel chair friendly shower in the pool house. I've heard other stories of similar kindness. In fact, people are often hanging out in the club house just to chat and enjoy one of the lattes Claire or Emily will brew up for you. Everyone we've met is so nice! I couldn't imagine living in a better apartment complex. The amenities sell it, but the staff makes you feel right at home as part of their family.
We loved living at Spyglass at Cedar Cove! Shenola made choosing an apartment, applying for it and signing the lease seamless. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. We found the apartments to be quiet and clean. The amenities are amazing, especially the private beach!

Recently had a tour at Spyglass and wanted to leave a review of the exceptional service I received from the Property Manager, Shenola. She was such a pleasure and her rapport made me feel like family. She was able to go over all of my options and work with my wants and needs of my next home. Pricing seemed average for the location considering the other properties quoted me way more. Although the seasons are changing, I'm looking forward to having walking distance access to the beach. The neighborhood seems pretty quiet which I prefer. Please ask for Shenola if you decide to visit here, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
I've been at Spyglass for a few weeks and Ms. SMITH is new and doing an amazing job. Since the first day I met her she has been amazing. I'm happy she will be the property manager. I've had a few issues inside the apartment and Tim the maintenance man took care of them. He's knowledgeable with fixing things. It will be nice if they hire another maintenance person. The grounds are kept really pretty. So far I enjoy living here.
My partner and I are currently looking to move back to MD from out of state and Shenola, the property manager, has been exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout the process. She was prompt in getting back to me and even went out of her way to send videos of the apartments we were interested in.

The property manager Shenola was a delight to converse with. She quickly got back to me about my application and gave such vital information and feedback to any questions and concerns I had. As a resident of Spyglass for over 2 years I am truly enjoying this property. I am an ardent lover of the water and nature. The beach is quiet and I especially enjoy the walking trails. If you are looking for a place that has it all, the amenities here are hard to beat. Simply put, Spyglass at Cedar Cove is a hidden gem in Southern Maryland!
I would be remiss if I did not mention the exemplary job of our property manager, Shenola Smith. Although we have had a couple of managers since my tenure here, in short, Shenola is second to none. She came aboard with a laser focus to ensure this property met with a high standard of excellence. In my opinion, she has not disappointed! She is extremely professional, attentive to details, has and eye for perfection, not to mention I love her warm-spirit! No doubt, she is a tremendous asset to this company as she is remarkably skilled in her profession. I am confident that under her supervision Spyglass at Cedar Cove will be one of the most sought after properties in this area.
Lastly, the maintenance team, Tim and Mark, deserve high marks for their hardwork, loyalty and efficiency in handling day to day matters. A great team! A fantastic place to live!

Excellent place to live! Claire, Emily, Dan and Terry are always on top of things. Making sure that everything is beautiful and running smoothly! I have had maintenance done about 5 times a year for the past 3 years with absolutely no issues. Our apartment feels like home with a fireplace and private balcony. Washer and dryer in our unit is a bonus! We use the online portal to make our rent payment monthly and we immediately get an email confirming our payment. Hassle free! The beach and the pool are both gorgeous. We enjoy mingling at the many events that are offered at the club house. Keep up the great work guys!!!
