These apartments are Centrally located for Downtown Living. Within a few blocks you can be to the Capitol Building, Memory Grove Park, Vivant Arena, Gateway Mall. Public transportation is within those few blocks. I personally enjoyed at Christmas time the LDS Temple lights. They are amazing to see and they also light up the building that is directly kitty- corner from these apartments. Across the street to the East is a Church. I know across most streets in Salt Lake there is a Church but this one has a open, medium size, all grass property that is outlined with shade trees. You would mistake it for a park because it is not attached to the church. It is a nice place to relax, take your pet or even have a picnic. One of the two best things about Arches South with out a doubt is the garage. If your one to keep your motor vehicle away from the elements this is a nice addition. If your one that has stuff and want a place to store it this is very handy and would save you on storage fees and gas getting to the storage facility. The second best thing about Arches South and the reason this place gets 5 stars from me is the property Manager Patricia Layton. She is great to work with and really helps you get the things you need accomplished. When you put in a service call she has her maintenance guys on it to quickly take care of whatever your concern was. If downtown and it's vibrant Marmalade Community is something you want to be about, then Arches South is definitely your need.

The best part about living here was being within walking distance of the capitol, Memory Grove, and all things downtown. The garage was also very nice. The AC doesn't work which made for hot, hot summers. The roaches are also awful in the summer. A lot of sketchy stuff happened at the nearby Wendell apartments which made us feel unsafe.
