I lived here with one roommate on the first floor as a senior from August-May. Management made the entire stay at Cedar Creek great! They were extremely friendly (shout out to Marissa and her excellent staff :)! PROS: - Being right next to the stadium offered a beautiful view and ease of access to games/events. - Right next to the bus stop! - Very friendly and understanding staff - Maintenance is QUICK to resolve most problems - The Internet was great! I streamed full 4k HDR/Dolby Vision and PS4 without any issue, even with another gamer roommate. CONS: - My biggest gripe is the high electric (Duke Energy with an average of $134.51 per my nine months stay) and water bill (City of Bloomington Utilities Services with an average $52.12 per my nine months stay). For the energy, we either had the thermostat turned off or at 70. Our most expensive bill was $201.38, and the lowest was $79.55! The winter wasn't anywhere near an extreme temperature to cause this high bill, and it got to the point where the property issued a check to help reduce the burden. The issue was the apartment has poor insulation, so it would always turn on and off even though the temperature was at 70. For the water, the highest bill was $71.51, and the lowest was $24.51 (first month). - The closeness of the stadium meant during games, it was practically impossible to leave or enter the resident. Good luck with 45/46 during these times too!
