Stanton Oaks is the new name of a development previously known as Boynton Village. Located in the Peoplestown neighborhood of Atlanta, GA the redevelopment of the 43 multifamily townhome units deserves a new name for a new beginning. There are 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units. Stanton Oaks is doing things differently. Stanton Oaks is tracking GOLD level LEED for Homes Certification. Our buildings provide a healthier, more durable and more energy efficient living environment than your average apartment community. How? To start, we are providing a better building envelope. This includes upgraded insulation, more efficient windows and enhanced air sealing to keep your conditioned air in and the heat/cold and humidity out. We’re providing more efficient air conditioning and heating systems. Not only will they run less often due to your enhanced building envelope, but they will cost less to operate when they do need to run. Programmable thermostats offer the ability to pre-set your air conditioning and heat to run less often when you aren’t home, further enhancing the efficiency of the system. All apartments are equipped with more efficient than average hot water systems, so the cost of heating your water is less. This can add up to $500 over the lifetime of the equipment. The apartments also include low flow plumbing fixtures, using less water than the average standard fixture. The appliance package is also energy star, again using less energy and costing less to operate. It is estimated that an energy star appliance package can save up to $80/year in energy costs. In addition, all paint, adhesives, cabinetry, carpet and flooring, etc utilized in the complete renovation of Stanton Oaks are low VOC (volatile organic compounds) materials. Combined with MERV 8 filters in the heating/cooling systems, the result is significantly improved indoor air quality and an overall healthier living environment.
