I really enjoy my apartment here. I feel like I am living at a resort. The apartments and the lobby area are beautiful! The movie room and game room are convenient and my neighbors are very friendly. I like cooking out on the grill by the pool with them. The entire staff is pleasant to talk to. I look forward to being here for awhile! :)
I have lived here for three years and have very minimal complaints. Staff have always been helpful and prompt. I’ve really loved my time here, area is nice and the rent is cheap considering all the amenities you get. Only downside is the space is small and there is no oven. Otherwise, this place is really perfect.

Stayed here over the summer while interning at a local business. Studio rooms are the perfect size for one person. Excellent value in my opinion and located close enough to the freeway that you can get anywhere quick. Only complaint is that the free Internet is essentially unusable in the rooms and you have to go to the main building to get a strong enough signal.

Very safe location, gated community. The office personnel, Nicole and James, are very organized and responsive to needs and requests. Armondo in maintenance is always quick on repairs. All amenities, gym, game room, laundry and even a movie room are available to residents. University Village has even streamlined your options in paying your rent whether it be check or online payment through their portal. Laundry facilities are nice and updated with an application that can be dowloaded to your mobile device that allows you to pay for your laundry as well as letting you know what machines are available for use right down to alerting you when your laundry is complete. My husband and I are traveling nurses we were concerned about finding a place that was affordable but not run down. This community exceeded our expectations.

I loved my little studio apartment at University Village. I lived there for 15 months and only left because I moved to Tucson, AZ.
The kitchen was my favorite. Granite counter tops and black appliances--much more attractive than any kitchen you'll find for the same rent elsewhere in Albuquerque. (Before I signed my lease I looked around extensively and was not impressed with anything else in this price range.)
The kitchen is not for dedicated cooks: you get a microwave and a two-burner hot plate. I supplemented this with a toaster oven I bought on Craigslist for $35. I'm not much into cooking so it worked perfectly for me.
The apartments come furnished and I enjoyed the look of all the furniture. The couch is not the most comfortable so I used the desk chair more than the couch. Rent at University Village is extremely reasonable, especially given that utilities and wifi are included. Fluctuations in the strength and availability of the wifi were very frustrating when I first moved there but the management had it fixed and after that I had no more issues.
Repairs were always attended to with lightning speed. Even when my fridge went kaput they had a new one wheeled in in less than an hour.
I found it a quiet and safe place to live. Occasionally some student parties can be heard near the pool but they don't last late into the night and I never lost any sleep because of it. I often walked at night to get some fresh air and always felt safe. Just as I was moving out they were installing gates on the parking lot for added security.
The sliding magnetic keys for the apartment doors can be a pain because it's easy to lose your key or lock yourself out. Be extra-conscious every time you walk out of your apartment to avoid doing this to yourself.
Management at UV is exceptional. They're strict when they need to be (which I liked--even when it was directed at me--because it keeps the property under control) but they're also kind and friendly. Compared to what I've seen elsewhere, the management, security and maintenance at UV deserve a few courtesy awards!
I would happily live at UV again. I've endured some crappy rentals in my time and this stands out as one of the most pleasant. I was sorry to leave.

My son lives here. Nice, cozy well kept place. They have PC rooms, kinda like a small conference room, which they also have. Small to large. Weight room. Media room furnished with large recliners. Laundry room which is very clean and only 1.50 per load. It's quiet and welcoming. Great place. Tenants, so far, are all good people. Location is.....meh, but it's an enclosed, gated community. I really like it. Utilities are paid and free Wi-Fi. Grounds are clean and maintained very well. Relaxing here, especially inside would promote one to read a good book, write or just sit and think.

I've have had nothing but positive experiences here at University Village. Nicole is great and extremely helpful in the front office, always ready to help. It is a great place for college students with the gym, game room, theater room, pool, and hot tub, but quiet enough for seniors. University Village is a great place to live for everyone!
