I toured this property this past Saturday and Marc was awesome. I’m relocating back to GA so I flew in just to find a new apartment. I did not have an appointment however, he made time to show me around and answer 1000 questions. He was kind, patient, professional and very helpful. He knew each resident we passed while on the tour and stopped to say hello and ask how they were doing. Marc made my decision on finding a new home easy! I’m not sure what his role is on this property BUT he should be in the front office helping prospective residents.

I recently toured this property with Tracy, and she made it so comfortable. She was so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions including concerns I had from past apartments I’ve lived in. I love the amenities and how they have so many events planned to bring the community together. I can’t wait to move in next month!

First, this is not a paid review this is very genuine and 100% honest. When I first came on the tour of Cortland on Ponce, there was a wonderfully professional and gorgeous leasing manager named “Peyton” who greeted me. She informed me of the entire application process and even when the office , on that Saturday, consisted of only herself, she was obliged to make sure everyone who came for tours, inquiries as well as current residents were taken care of. Throughout the tour, she gave me 100% honesty of quotes, the application process and answered all of my million questions regarding becoming a prospective tenant. On Move in day, she made sure I was taken care of, that the moving process and reservation for the space for my moving truck was seamless and assured me that if I needed anything to ask she or Tracy or any other team members . Move in day: On the day of move in, I was tired from already packing the truck we rented from my last resident and had to unpack at this one at Cortland the same morning. I had to use the bathroom so bad and realized that my toiletries were somewhere in those million packed boxes. Well, I walked into the apartment unit and my bathroom welcomed me with a toilet roll already provided by Cortland with a silver tab that as luxurious. It felt better than using Charmin and it wasn’t that cheap toilet paper provided by janitorial companies at school restrooms for staff and students like the “Scott” brand . In fact, I was even more amazed that when opening my fridge and remembering I didn’t have groceries yet, there were two complimentary bottles of water with the logo “Cortland” already provided. They also provided a beautiful cheeseboard as a move in gift sitting on the counter when I walked in. The unit : Have you ever toured an apt and it doesn’t ever look like the model? Well at Cortland , that is something you will NEVER experience! The unit I moved in looked exactly as the unit I modeled and this was the first time I have experienced this. Parking: Parking is amazing because in the car garage the little gate says when ever you swipe your card coming in your last name and “welcome home John Doe” and when leaving it has on its entry sign “drive safely John Doe.” It makes you feel at home. We never have to worry about pollen on the cars bc we have a parking deck. There is also a feeling of safety because the parking deck security patrols there. Community equipment The gym is awesome. Only suggestion, it needs an additional peloton bike bc it’s very popular. I love the gym and its equipment consists of top of the art equipment. Maintenance They are accessible, FRIENDLY (I put in all caps because some maintenance I have dealt with are rude and unprofessional but not at Cortland), and they are timely. Also if you try to throw away boxes that are not broken down Mr. Paul will make sure he lets you know not to do so without breaking them down. If you prop the door from the parking deck (as it is key accessed) he will make sure you have a 411 on why the safety of residents is important , so follow your lease rules. Environment Lots of senior citizens here , but also lots of vibe filled young couples and single residents in their 30s and up. A few families with kids life here as well and I like the ensemble of everything. I love most the older residents who are 60+ bc we have a book clubs, chess clubs, etc take part in and they are such sweet ppl to converse with and not the “your -generation -is -what’s wrong -with -the -world “ type of people :-). They are lovely. Tracy and Ms. Peyton They are two of the best leasing consultants and managers a community can have. I moved from a crappy apartment from Sandy springs and it could NEVER touch this place with a ten foot pole. I find though that if Ms. Peyton or Tracy is not there, the phone sometimes is not answered . They also make sure the mailroom and packages are delivered efficiently
